Odisha government has launched a new scheme namely Antyodaya Gruha Yojana on 25th July 2024. This scheme has been formulated to assist low-income households in kutcha houses not covered by PMAY (G) and other housing schemes. Antyodaya Gruha Yojana in Odisha Budget 2024-25

On 25th July 2024, Finance Minister presented Odisha Budget 2024-25. While delivering the budget speech, FM said "A new scheme, Antyodaya Gruha Yojana, has been formulated to assist low-income households in kutcha houses not covered by PMAY (G) and other housing schemes. A budget of Rs.105 crore is proposed for this scheme. The government will also conduct a detailed survey to identify and provide houses to all eligible left-out beneficiaries under PMAY(G) in a phased manner."

Antyodaya Gruha Yojana List 2024

  • First of all, go to the Antyodaya Gruha Yojana portal.
  • The homepage of the official website will open.
  • Click the "Beneficiary List" option.
  • In the opened window, select name of district, block, pachayat, village and click at "Search" button. 
  • Upon clicking the link, Antyodaya Gruha Yojana list will open.
  • Fetch the list of houses built in any village by selecting the district->block->panchayat->village. 
Note that exact location of the houses under Antyodaya Gruha Yojana would also be recorded as each one of it would be geo-tagged.

Odisha Antyodaya Gruha Yojana Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicant must be a permanent resident of Odisha state.
  • Only those applicants who belongs to low income households would be eligible.
  • The family of the applicant must be living in kutcha house.
  • Household must not be covered under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin (PMAY-G) or any other housing scheme.

How to Apply Online for Antyodaya Gruha Yojana

  • First of all, go to the Antyodaya Gruha Yojana portal.
  • The homepage of the official website will open.
  • Click the "Apply online" option.
  • Upon clicking the link, Antyodaya Gruha Yojana application form will open.
  • Now, fill in the form with all the required details like Aadhar card (Identity Proof), Address Proof, bank account details, etc.
  • After that, click on the "Submit" button to complete the application.

Other Initiatives for Ease of Living in Odisha

Ease of living with dignity encompasses the idea that every individual should have access to basic necessities and rights, allowing them to lead a life of respect, autonomy, and well-being. Odisha govt. would like to ensure doorstep delivery of essential public services thereby bridging the gap between the public service providers and beneficiaries.


While delivering the Odisha budget speech 2024-25, Finance Minister said "In line with the Government of India's decision to further expand the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and construct 3 crore additional rural and urban houses, we have requested GoI to provide at least 15 lakhs houses to address the housing needs of our people ensuring that every citizen leads a better quality of life. In this budget, an outlay of Rs. 6,090 crore has been proposed under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Gramin). Priority of Government is to cover all the eligible left out beneficiaries under PMAY(G). A detailed survey will be conducted to identify all left out beneficiaries. They will be provided houses under PMAY(G) in phased manner."

FM added that "Rs. 600 crore is proposed under PM-JANMAN to provide secure housing for Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs) by 2025. For urban housing, the government commits to fully implementing PM Awas Yojana in urban areas with a budget outlay of Rs. 692 crore for 2024-25 to complete 50,000 houses and initiate 2 lakh new houses."
