It is worth noting that earlier during YSRCP rule, this scheme was running in the name of Jagananna Videshi Vidya Deevena Scheme. It has now been renamed to Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi Scheme under the new TDP led CM Chandrababu Naidu rule.
Jagananna Videshi Vidya Deevena Renamed to Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi Scheme
Andhra Pradesh has reinstated the names of TDP founder-president N.T. Rama Rao and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar to the welfare schemes. The state govt. renamed six social welfare schemes, which were implemented before 2019 and continue to exist till date under different names, but with same provisions.

Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi Scheme 2024 Apply Online
Each student will get around Rs. 1.25 crore for pursuing higher education in the top 50 globally ranked universities. Here is the complete process to apply online for Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi Scheme:-- Firstly visit the official website https://jnanabhumi.ap.gov.in/
- Go to 'Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi (AOVN)' section and hit "Registration-Click Here" link or simply click https://jnboverseas1.apcfss.in/
- Then Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi login page will open.
- Existing users can enter username and password and click "Sign In" button to make login.
- New users can click at "New Student, Please register" link.
- Then Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi Scheme online registration page will open.
- Select course group, country of overseas study, name of foreign university and then enter UID (aadhaar) number.
- Then full AOVN apply online form will get displayed on your screen.
- Enter OTP, set your password and click "Submit" button to complete Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi online registration process.
- Then you can simply hit at "Login" button to make AOVN scheme login.
Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi Scheme Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates should be a native of Andhra Pradesh state.
- Maximum age should not exceed 35 years as on date of publication of notification.
- Family income shall not exceed Rs. 8 lakhs per annum.
- Only one candidate per family is eligible.
- The candidate who have availed financial assistance under similar schemes from state or govt of India is not eligible under the scheme.
Required Educational Qualifications for AOVN Scheme
- For Post Graduate courses: 60% marks or equivalent grade in foundation Degree in Engineering / Management / Pure Sciences / Agriculture Sciences / Medicine & Nursing / Social Sciences / Humanities.
- For Ph.D. courses: 60% marks or equivalent grade in P.G. course in Engineering / Management / Pure Sciences / Agriculture Sciences / Medicine / Social Sciences / Humanities.
- For MBBS courses: 60% marks in Intermediate or equivalent course.
Documents Required for Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi Scheme
The following documents are required for filing of applications:-
- Caste certificate from concerned village / ward secretariat.
- Income certificate from concerned village / ward secretariat and it should be physically certified by the concerned district collector.
- Ration card of the family of the student, if available.
- SSC certificate / Date of birth certificate (for the purpose of determining the eligible age prescribed for the scheme).
- Aadhar card.
- Nativity certificate from the MeeSeva / Revenue department.
- Qualifying Intermediate / Degree / PG certificate for admission to MBBS / PG course / Ph.D course respectively.
- Mark Sheet of qualifying examination (for proof of acquiring minimum prescribed marks).
- TOEFL / IELTS / GRE / GMAT score sheet.
- Unconditional offer letter from foreign university.
- NEET score card, in case of admission into MBBS course.
- Copy of the latest tax returns of family members, wherever applicable.
- Nationalised Bank Account details of student.
- Latest passport size photo.
- Scanned signature.
- Self certificate from the student that no other family member of his family availed financial assistance under similar scheme from the state or central govt and he/she also has not availed similar scheme from the state/central govt. previously.

- First of all, go to official Jnanabhumi portal at https://jnanabhumi.ap.gov.in/
- Go to 'Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi' section and hit "Registration-Click Here" link or simply click https://jnboverseas1.apcfss.in/
- Then Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi login page will open.
- Existing users can enter username (aadhaar number used at the time of registration) and password (which entered while making registration) and click "Sign In" button to make login.
- Then page to track AOVN scheme application status will open.
- It will show you Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi application status as the following:-
- Partially registered
- DO verification
- HO verification
- Interviewed On
- Sanction
- Release
