Finance Minister of Maharashtra, Sh. Ajit Pawar, has announced Mukhyamantri Annapurna Yojana on 28 June 2024. Under this scheme, the state govt. will provide 3 free LPG cylinders annually to each poor family with 5 members. About Mukhyamantri Annapurna Yojana Maharashtra 2024-25 

Maharashtra government will offer 3 free gas cylinders annually to 52.4 lakh households under Mukhyamantri Annapurna Scheme. This scheme would ensure improved health, social benefits and economic empowerment for its citizens. Moreover, Mukhyamantri Annapurna Yojana shall also provide environmental benefits along with improving access to cleaner fuel for cooking to poor people.
