• First of all, visit the Karnataka State Unorganized Workers Social Security Board official website https://ksuwssb.karnataka.gov.in/english
• At the homepage, go to the "Online Services" section and click at "Karnataka State Gig Workers Insurance Scheme" link.

• Upon clicking the link, the Seva Sindhu Login window will open where existing users can login to apply for Karnataka Gig Workers Insurance Scheme.

• New users will have to click at "Register Here" link to open Karnataka State Gig Workers Insurance Scheme online registration form 2024-2025:-

• Enter aadhar number, captcha and click at "Next" tab to make Gig Workers insurance scheme registration and then make login to apply online.

• Insurance benefit for gig workers working in the state of Karnataka for the first time in the country.
• All eligible gig workers will be registered on the Sevasindhu Portal. (as mentioned above)
• Insurance benefit available for on duty as well as off duty accidents.
• Gig Workers Insurance Scheme benefit is completely free. 
• No applicant is required to pay any premium amount to avail insurance scheme benefits.

Karnataka Gig Worker Insurance Scheme Eligibility Criteria

• Workers Eligible for Registration - Food delivery boys of Swiggy, Zomato etc. are eligible. In addition to this, all unorganised gig workers engaged in delivery profession with e-commerce establishments such as Amazon, Flipkart, Porter, Pharmacy, Blinkit, Zepto, Big Basket, Domino’s, etc. are also eligible.
• Age Limit - 18 to 60 years of age.
• NON Income Tax Payee - Applicant should not be an income tax payer.
• Exclusion Criteria - Applicant should not be a beneficiary of EPF and ESI. If the applicant is a beneficiary of EPF or ESI, then those applicants would be excluded.
• Location - Engaged as gig worker (Delivery person) in Karnataka only.

Benefits of Insurance Scheme for Gig Workers Karnataka

• In case of accidental death: Rs.4.00 lakh inclusive of Accidental Insurance of Rs.2.00 lakh and Life Insurance of Rs.2.00. lakhs.
• In case of permanent disability due to accident: upto Rs.2.00 lakhs.
• Reimbursement of hospital expenses for accident cases: upto Rs.1.00 lakhs.
• Life insurance: Rs.2.00 lakhs.
