Namo Shri Yojana 2024-25 Apply Online, Eligibility, Amount, Details

Gujarat government has announced to start implementation of Namo Shri Yojana 2024-25 soon. Under this scheme, the state govt. will provide financial assistance of Rs. 12,000 to pregnant ladies and lactating mothers. Namo Shri Yojana in Gujarat Budget 2024-25

Finance Minister presented Gujarat Budget 2024-2025 on 2 February 2024 in which FM announced to start Namo Shri Yojana for pregnant women. FM said "Pregnant and lactating mothers belonging to various categories like SC, ST, NFSA and PM-JAY beneficiaries, will be provided assistance of Rs. 12,000 annually. In all, Rs. 750 crore has been allocated for the Namo Shri Yojana".

Objective of Namo Shri Yojna 2024

The main aim of Namo Shri scheme is to provide financial assistance of Rs. 12000 to pregnant ladies from poor families. FM said "नमो श्री योजना के तहत पिछड़े और गरीब वर्ग की गर्भवती महिलाओं को 12,000 रुपये की सहायता दी जाएगी। बजट में इसके लिए 750 करोड़ रुपये का प्रावधान किया गया है।"

Eligibility Criteria for Namo Shri Yojana in Gujarat

Namo Shri Yojana (NSY) is a State Sponsored DBT scheme with the cash incentive of Rs. 12,000 being provided directly in the bank/post office account of Pregnant Women and Lactating Mothers. Only those candidates who fulfills the below mentioned eligibility criteria would be eligible:-

• Applicant must be a permanent resident of Gujarat state.
• Pregnant women and lactating mothers would be eligible. 
• Age of the pregnant ladies must be above 19 years.
• Applicant women must belong to poor families.

Namo Shri Yojana Apply Online

Namo Shri Yojana is a maternity benefit program run by the government of Gujarat. It is a conditional cash transfer scheme for pregnant and lactating women of 19 years of age or above for the first live birth. Note that as the scheme has just been announced, there is no official Namo Shri yojana apply online process. As soon as any update is available, we will update it here.
