Swasthya Sathi Card 2024 Online Apply, Status Check

Swasthya Sathi Card 2024 online apply and application status checking facility has been started at swasthyasathi.gov.in portal. Under this scheme, West Bengal state govt. provide cashless health insurance upto Rs. 5 lakh for secondary and tertiary care with all pre-existing diseases covered. Any person can now make Swasthya Sathi scheme registration with zero contribution to get treatment at any empanelled hospital (govt. / private) across the state. Swasthya Sathi Scheme in West Bengal Budget 2024-25

On 8th February 2024, Finance Minister presented West Bengal Budget 2024-25. While presenting the WB Budget 2024-25, FM said "Under the flagship 'Swasthya Sathi Scheme', 2.45 crore families all over the State are covered at present. A total of 2,749 hospitals and nursing homes are enlisted under the Scheme. Since inception, more than 65 lakh beneficiaries have availed the services amounting to more than Rs. 8,600 crore in this scheme. More than 2,000 crore was incurred as scheme expenditure in 2023-24 as on 31.12.2023. Everyday around 6,000 patients avail this facility".

FM added "We have achieved remarkable progress in health care coverage through our unique Swathya Sathi Scheme. I am happy to propose extension of Swasthya Sathi Scheme for migrant workers residing outside of West Bengal registered in Karmasathi Parijayee Shramik Portal. Under the scheme, migrant workers will have access to hospital care in place of their work through insurance coverage in Swasthya Sathi. Rs. 150 crore is allocated for this purpose. More than 28 lakh migrant workers will be benefited".

The hon'ble FM further added that "Surprisingly, the extension of Ayushman Bharat Scheme for ASHA and ICDS workers in this year's budget of the Central Government has come very late in the day. Under the guidance and inspiration of our Hon'ble Chief Minister, our State has already provided Swasthya Sathi coverage to all ASHA and ICDS workers since 2017".

Swasthya Sathi Card 2024 Online Apply 

  • First of all, go to the Swasthya Sathi Scheme official website at https://swasthyasathi.gov.in/ 
  • At the homepage, scroll over the "Apply Online" tab present in the main menu.
  • Enter all the asked details in the Swasthya Sathi Card form for enrollment as given here:-
    • Select the appropriate District from the list 
    • If you belong to Panchayat Area, choose your Block, Panchayat & Village name from the list 
    • If you belong to Municipality Area, Choose your Municipality Name then choose your Ward Number
    • Choose the proper category you belong to from the list, SC / ST / OBC / Others 
    • Fill up your Department Name If Employed 
    • Fill up Office Name & Address If Applicant / Member is Employed
    • Fill up your Residential Address with PIN Code 
    • Fill up the Name of the Applicant and Head of the Family (HoF). 
    • If Any Member of the family receive Govt. Sponsored Health Insurance / Assurance, choose the option from the list YES / NO 
    • If Any Member of the family receive Medical Allowance from Govt., choose the option from the list YES / NO 
    • If Any Member of the family receive Medical Allowance from Private Institution, choose the option from the list YES / NO
  • Then fillup Member(s) of family details including
    • Member Name as per the AADHAR Card, 
    • Next enter Relationship: The First relationship is always the Beneficiary, subsequent are: Spouse, Mother, Father, Child, Others 
    • Age: Fill up the correct age as per records 
    • Gender: Fill up the correct gender as per records 
    • AADHAR Number: Fill up the correct AADHAR Number as per records 
    • KHADYASATHI Ration Card Number: Fill up the correct Ration Card Number as per records
    • Employment Status of the Member: Fill up the correct Employment Status as per records
    • Mobile Number: Fill up the Working Mobile number for each member
  • After entering all the details, click at "Submit" button to complete Swasthya Sathi Card online application form fillup process.
