Himachal Pradesh government has launched Sarkar Gaon Ke Dwar Yojana 2024. Under this scheme, state govt. officials will provide resolutions of citizen's problems and would ensure that eligible persons get HP welfare schemes benefits. CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu himself will interact with the beneficiaries of various schemes of the state government on some occasions. How Sarkar Gaon Ke Dwar Yojana 2024 Works
Under Sarkar Gaon Ke Dwaar Programme, various meetings or camps or rallies would be organized at the village level by high ranking officials. People can come to these meetings and tell their problems to the govt. officials. These officials will take the responsibility of immediate resolution of the problems, as per the law. Moreover, these officials can also give speech on various welfare schemes of HP govt. so that people get aware about the schemes and intended beneficiaries can avail benefits. People at grassroot level would be made aware of schemes meant for them and how they can get benefits.
Considering that about 90 percent of the population of the state resides in villages and efforts would be made to strengthen the village economy in the coming budget, said the Chief Minister, adding that, "The vision of prosperous Himachal will be realized only when our villages become self-reliant". The target has been set to make Himachal the most prosperous state of the country in the next 10 years, he remarked.
Sarkar Gaon Ke Dwaar Programme on 24th Jan 2024
On 24th Jan 2024, Sarkar Gaon Ke Dwaar program was held at Bijhri in the Barsar assembly constituency of Hamirpur. CM announced the opening of Jal Shakti and PWD sub-divisions in Bijhari, increasing the existing bed capacity of Civil Hospital Barsar to 100 and the sub-health center Saloni to 10 beds. Also commerce and science classes would be started in a few government schools. He announced Rs. 50 lakh for the construction of a modern bus stand at Barsar as well as for the renovation of Tal Stadium Bijhri.The Chief Minister also dedicated the development projects worth Rs 150 crore for Barsar Assembly constituency, in district Hamirpur. He laid the foundation stone of works to cost Rs 138 crore and to augment various lift water supply schemes from River Sutlej to Barsar. Along with this, he also inaugurated Rs. 7 crore bridge built on Sukkar rivulet, a residential building of the Health Department at Barsar completed with an outlay of Rs 3.32 crore and the office building of Additional District Attorney (ADA) constructed at a cost of Rs 1.36 crore.
Regarding Education sector, CM stated that "We are making earnest efforts to improve this vital sector so as to equip the children to face challenges of the future". We have announced to introduce English medium in all government schools from class one in next academic session as well. He said that the people of the state faced the recent monsoon disaster boldly. In lieu of the recent disaster that struck upon the State, the government made a provision of Rs. 5,000 for rented accommodation for homeless in rural and Rs 10,000 in urban areas. The arrangements for free LPG and ration have been made for them till 31 March 2024.
Fulfilling its poll promises, the state government reinstated the Old Pension Scheme (OPS) for government employees, started the first phase Rs 680 crore Rajeev Gandhi Start-up Yojna to open avenues of self-employment for the youth with 50 percent subsidy on e-vehicles, the second phase of which will start soon for Solar projects with provisions of subsidy, he said.
The Chief Minister said that the state government is filling 20 thousand posts in various government departments. Along with this, projects related to e-taxi and solar energy have been started to promote self-employment. 4000 orphan children have been adopted as Children of the State. The state government will provide assistance of Rs 1.50 lakh to single women and widows to build houses. The Government will make provision for opening schools and colleges for special children in the next budget.
The Chief Minister also laid the foundation stone of Kapra bridge to be built at a cost of Rs 3.43 crore, Primary Health Centre, Phahal to be built at a cost of Rs 1.35 crore and Phahal-Kotlu drinking water scheme to cost Rs 1.10 crore under Nadaun assembly constituency. The Chief Minister also distributed tablets to 250 meritorious students.

Rented Accommodation to Orphan Children under Mukhyamantri Sukh Ashray Yojana: Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said the state government would make a provision in Mukhyamantri Sukh Ashray Yojana of providing rent for accommodation to the orphan children under the scheme. He gave this assurance while interacting with the beneficiaries of various schemes during the "Sarkar Gaon Ke Dwar Programme" held in village Nakki of Pragpur in district Kangra on 19th January 2024 (Friday).
A beneficiary of Mukhyamantri Sukh Ashray Yojana, Prince Sharma, said he was doing MBA from Regional Center Dharamshala and the state government was bearing the entire expenses of his studies, but as there is no hostel and he was putting up in the private accommodation. Responding to it, the chief minister said to ensure that the studies of children do not hamper, the government will make a provision in the scheme for providing rent to such children.
Another beneficiary of Sukh Ashray Scheme Dr. Rashmi Sharma thanked the chief minister for providing financial help from the state government to pursue her studies after BAMS apart from pocket money of Rs. 4,000. "This scheme was not merely to show mercy, but it was the right of orphan children whom the government has adopted as the children of the state by enacting a law," said the chief minister.
Disaster-affected Sarla Devi of Kaloh and Pratima Devi, of Upper Bharol, expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister for financial assistance for house construction. The chief minister, listening to the grievance of 88-year-old Tara Chand of Kaloh, directed Deputy Commissioner Kangra Dr. Nipun Jindal to redress his grievance regarding the construction of the road.

Sarkar Gaon Ke Dwaar Programme Launch (17th January 2024 Update)
Sarkar Gaon Ke Dwaar Programme has been launched from village Galore in Nadaun Assembly constituency in Hamirpur district on 17 January 2024. The government is organising the program across the state to make people aware of the various policies, programmes and achievements of the state government. The ministers and MLAs would also visit villages to inform people about the public welfare schemes being implemented so that the people could derive maximum benefits from them.
