LIC Scholarship Yojana 2024 - How to Apply Online

LIC Scholarship Yojana 2024 online application form invited by Life Insurance Corporation of India at licindia.in. The objective of LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship Scheme is to award scholarships to meritorious students belonging to economically weaker sections so as to provide them with better opportunities for higher education and employment. In this article, we will tell you how to apply online for LIC scholarship yojna, what is eligibility criteria (read instructions), rate of scholarship (amount) and other details.

LIC Scholarship Yojana 2024 Apply Online 

• First of all, visit the official link https://licindia.in/golden-jubilee-foundation

• After reading the instructions, hit at "Apply for Scholarship Scheme 2024" tab.
• Accordingly, the LIC Scholarship Yojana 2024 online application form will appear as shown below:-

• Enter details like name, date of birth, nationality, address, PIN code, mobile number, email ID, select gender, state, district and fill other details.
• After filling in all the details, click at "Submit" button to complete LIC Scholarship Yojana 2024 apply online process.

Last date to submit online application for LIC scholarship yojana is 22 December 2024.

Golden Jubilee Scholarship Scheme Eligibility Criteria

• General Scholarship 
• After Class 12th - 
• All candidates who have passed Class XII exam (or its equivalent – Regular/Vocational) / Diploma with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA grade in the Academic Year 2021-22/2022-23/2023-24, and 
• Have taken admission in the academic year 2024-25 for pursuing first year degree course in the field of Medicine, Engineering, Graduation in any discipline, Integrated Courses, Diploma Course in any field or other equivalent courses, Vocational Courses through Government recognized Colleges /Institutes or courses in Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs), and
• Have parents/guardian with an annual income (from all sources) not exceeding Rs.2,50,000 per annum (please refer clause 7 (ii) – for relaxation).
• After Class 10th -
• All candidates who have passed Class X exam (or its equivalent) with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA grade in the Academic Year 2021-22/2022-23/2023-24, and 
• Have taken admission in the academic year 2024-25 for pursuing first year education in the field of Vocational / Diploma Courses through Govt. recognized colleges/institutions or courses in Industrial Training Institutes (ITI), and
• Have parents/guardian with an annual income (from all sources) not exceeding Rs.2,50,000 per annum.
• Special Scholarship for Girl Child (For Two Years) 
• Female Candidates who have passed Class X exam (or its equivalent) with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA grade in the Academic Year 2021- 2022/2022-23/2023-24, and
• Have taken admission in the academic year 2024-25 for pursuing higher studies in the first year of Intermediate/10 + 2 pattern/ Vocational or Diploma Courses through Government recognized colleges/ institutions or courses in Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) for two years, and
• Have parents/guardian with an annual income (from all sources) not exceeding Rs. 2,50,000 per annum.

The Scholarships shall be provided only to students who are going for undergraduation or its equivalent including Integrated Courses only. This scholarship is not meant for post-graduation studies.

LIC Scholarship Yojana 2024 Amount (Rate of Scholarship)

The Rates of Scholarship for the LIC Scholarship Yojana 2024 are briefly given below. All other Terms & Conditions of eligibility shall be as laid down under the Scholarship Scheme (available at https://licindia.in)

Students pursuing education in the field of medicine	Rs. 40,000 p.a in 2 installments (20000, 20000)
Students pursuing education in the field of engineering	Rs. 30,000 p.a in 2 installments (15000, 15000)
Students pursuing graduation or Diploma in any vocational courses	Rs. 20,000 p.a in 2 installments (10000, 10000)
Special scholarship for girl child for pursuing higher secondary education (HSC/Diploma/Intermediate under 10+2 pattern) for two years	Rs. 15,000 p.a in 2 installments (7500, 7500)

Note : Any extension / change in last date of receiving application will be posted on official website (https://licindia.in) only. Candidates are requested to refer web site for any update.

Mode of Applying

ONLY ONLINE APPLICATIONS ARE TO BE SUBMITTED THROUGH THE LINK ON THE HOME PAGE at www.licindia.in. Once online application is submitted, the candidate will get acknowledgement on the email ID provided by him in the online application. Further correspondence will be made by the Divisional Office which is mentioned in the acknowledgement mail.
