Rajasthan Lado Protsahan Yojana implementation starts from 1 August 2024. The Lado Protsahan Scheme, announced during the presentation of the state budget, is aimed at overall development of girls from birth to their adulthood. Rajasthan Lado Protsahan Yojana 2024 Guidelines
From the birth of a girl child till she completes 21 years, the Lado Protsahan Yojana amount will be paid online through direct benefit transfer (DBT) in 7 installments. The first installment will be transferred to the girl's parents or guardian, and the final seventh to the girl's bank account through DBT. Rajasthan state govt is incorporating benefits of upcoming instalments of Rajshree scheme into Laado Protsahan scheme.
Under this scheme, only those girl children born in a govt medical institution or a private medical institution approved for Janani Suraksha Yojana (JSY) will be eligible. Under eligibility norms, the mother must be a native of Rajasthan. During the antenatal care check-up of the pregnant woman, documents like a certificate of being a native of Rajasthan or a marriage registration certificate, bank account details, etc., will be obtained and maintained by the medical, health and family welfare department. These details will then be entered on the pregnancy, child tracking & health services management system (PCTS) portal
Lado Protsahan Yojana found its first mention in the election manifesto (sankalp patra) of BJP while the party was in its run-up for the state assembly elections. As a part of Modi guarantee, BJP had pledged to implement Lado Protsahan Yojna if they win power in the Rajasthan state. Now after winning elections & coming to power, the newly elected govt. is keen on implementing its pre poll promises.
FM also announced to launch Ladli Suraksha Yojana in Rajasthan. FM said "बालिका/महिलाओं से छेड़छाड़ व अपराध की प्रभावी रोकथाम के लिए प्रत्येक जिले में प्राथमिकता के आधार पर सार्वजनिक स्थलों, बालिका छात्रावासों एवं नारी निकेतनों में CCTV कैमरे स्थापित करने के उद्देश्य से 'लाडली सुरक्षा योजना' शुरू किये जाने की मैं, घोषणा करती हूँ।"
The goal of this programme is to ensure no girl is uneducated across the entire Rajasthan state.
Lado Protsahan Yojana in Rajasthan Budget 2024-25
Finance Minister presented Rajasthan Budget 2024-25 on 8th February 2024. While presenting the budget, FM said "माननीय अध्यक्ष महोदय, जैसा कि विदित है हमारी केन्द्र की सरकार ने महिला सशक्तीकरण की दिशा में ऐतिहासिक कदम उठाते हुए 20 सितम्बर, 2023 को संसद तथा विधानसभा में महिला आरक्षण का प्रावधान करने हेतु नारी शक्ति वंदन अधिनियम पारित किया है। अब यह हमारा दायित्व है कि बालिकाओं को प्रारम्भ से ही समुचित शिक्षा एवं सम्बल प्राप्त हो, जिससे वह उन्नति के पथ पर अग्रसर होकर समाज/देश की प्रगति में अपना योगदान दे सकें। इसी दिशा में एक और कदम बढ़ाते हुए गरीब परिवारों की बालिकाओं के जन्म पर एक लाख रुपये का Saving Bond प्रदान करने हेतु लाडो प्रोत्साहन योजना प्रारम्भ किये जाने की मैं, घोषणा करती हूँ।"
About Rajasthan Lado Protsahan Yojana 2024
PM Narendra Modi made the announcement to start the Rajasthan Lado Protsahan Scheme and this plan was included in their election manifesto. Under this plan, the party has pledged to offer financial assistance to girl children from poor families (assistance amount is mentioned below).

- Beneficiaries will receive a variety of perks under the programme.
- In its electoral manifesto, the BJP party declared that it will implement the Rajasthan Lado Protsahan Scheme from 1st August 2024.
- After BJP Party has gained power, they have pledged to give saving bond on birth of girl child in poor families.
- Each beneficiary girl will get Rs. 6000 in class 6th, Rs. 8000 in class 9th, Rs. 10000 in class 10th, Rs. 12000 in class 11th, Rs. 14000 in class 12th.
- In addition, Rs. 50,000 would be provided in 1st and last year of professional courses.
