Tejaswini Scheme J&K 2024 - How to Apply Online

Jammu and Kashmir has launched Tejaswini Scheme 2024 to promote entrepreneurship among young women. This scheme envisages giving financial assistance upto Rs. 5 lakhs to young women for setting up gainful self-employment ventures, suited to their skills, training, aptitude and local conditions. 5 फ़रवरी 2024 को वित्त मंत्री ने जम्मू कश्मीर बजट 2024-25 पेश किया। J&K Budget 2024-2025 पेश करते समय वित्त मंत्री ने कहा कि "स्व-रोजगार योजनाओं और बैंकों से वित्तीय सहायता के माध्यम से भी रोजगार सृजन को प्रोत्साहित किया गया। मिशन यूथ पहल के अंतर्गत, मुमकिन, तेजस्वनी, स्परिंग एंटरप्रेन्योर कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत बड़ी संख्या में युवा और महिला उद्यमियों को वित्तीय सहायता प्रदान की जा रही है।

J&K Tejaswini Scheme Online Apply Process

• First of all, visit the official website https://missionyouth.jk.gov.in/
• On the homepage, click at "Schemes" tab or https://missionyouth.jk.gov.in/Schemes

• At this page, go to "Tejaswini-The Radiant" scheme under 'Livelihood Generation' section. Here you will see Tejaswini Scheme details.

• Click at "Apply for Tejaswini" tab or directly click at https://jkgss.jk.gov.in/ 
• At this jkgss.jk.gov.in page, go to "Tejaswini The Radiant" scheme section and click "Apply Now" button.
• Then the Tejaswini scheme J&K online apply page will open. 

• Enter the aadhar number, mobile number and click at "Send OTP" button. Validate the OTP received on your mobile to proceed to fill in all the details. 
• After filling in details, click at "Submit" button to complete the Tejaswini scheme apply online process.

Objectives of Jammu & Kashmir Tejaswini Scheme

• To empower and encourage women for income generation for activities either in manufacturing/ service/ trading/ small business etc.
• To facilitate soft finance for setting up new unit / enterprise or for expansion / modernization of existing Unit.
• For acquisition of fixed assets (Plant & Machinery, equipment, furniture & fixtures).
• To meet working capital needs for purchase of various products /equipment's/tools etc.   

Eligibility Criteria of Jammu and Kashmir Tejaswini Scheme

• Any female domicile of J&K, essentially registered with Mission Youth, J&K.
• Any individual women/ women entrepreneur (s)/ Enterprise where women entrepreneurs hold not less than 50% of financial holding.
• Preference will be given to the categories of women entrepreneurs trained in R-SETIs/ Skill Development Institutions etc. any other training institute.
• The applicant should not be a defaulter to any Bank / Financial Institution.
• Loan facility availed by the beneficiaries under Govt. sponsored scheme are not eligible under this scheme,
• The financial assistance would be given only to women between the age of 18 to 35 years having a qualification of 10th standard.
• The beneficiary must be unemployed and registered with the concerned District Employment & Counseling Center.
• No criteria regarding income of the family would be considered for the eligibility under this scheme.

Jammu Kashmir Tejaswini Scheme Funding

• Under the Tejaswini scheme, the eligible potential female entrepreneur shall be facilitated to avail financial assistance under Mudra loan from J&K Bank to the extent of Rs. 5.00 lakh. 
• The Scheme Banking Partner shall extend loan facility to the extent of 100% of the project cost under the scheme. 
• Mission Youth, J&K shall provide an amount of Rs. 50,000 or 10% of project cost (Whichever is minimum) as special incentive (subsidy) towards the loan account of the beneficiary under the scheme which shall be adjusted towards monthly installments of the loan for first six months.
