It is a single window unified web portal that empowers citizens to know how public funds are being spent for the overall development of the state and its people. You can now check area wise pension data as well as pensioners payment status.
The Mahiti Kanaja is a web disclosure portal that enables the Government of Karnataka to comply with the Right to Information Act, particularly Section 4(2) of the Act which states - "It shall be a constant endeavour of every public authority to provide as much information suo moto to the public at regular intervals through various means of communications, including internet, so that the public have minimum resort to the use of this act to obtain information".
Check Mahiti Kanaja Pension Status (Area Wise Pension Data)
- First of all, go to official website https://mahitikanaja.karnataka.gov.in/
- On homepage, click "Sector Wise Services" section or https://mahitikanaja.karnataka.gov.in/StaticPages/SectorCategory
- Select "Finance" option to open pension sector services.
- Select "Pension Area Wise" tab or https://mahitikanaja.karnataka.gov.in/Pension/PensionData?ServiceId=1045&Type=TABLE&DepartmentId=1011
- Then Area Wise Pension Data showing page will open.
- Select area type as either rural or urban, select district, taluk and click at "Submit" button.
- If you select 'urban' option, then Mahiti Kanaja urban area pension data finding section would open where along with district and taluk, you will have to enter town and ward name. Moreover, if you select 'rural' option, then Mahiti Kanaja rural area pension data finding section would open where along with district and taluk, you will have to enter hobli and village name.
- For instance we have selected rural area option with district, taluka, hobli as Bagalkot and village name as Benakatti (Bagalkot), so Mahiti Kanaja pension status of that "Bagalkot" area will open.
- Here you can find pensioner ID, pensioner name, father/husband name, category, pension scheme name, pension sanction date, pension sanction number, disability percentage, pension amount and mode of disbursement. Additionally, you can check more information on pension details and pension ledger.
