Dear readers, National Apprenticeship Training Scheme 2024 registration and login process started by central government. The NATS 2.0 portal has been launched with enhanced user experience, faster response time and additional features. Students can make new NATS portal registration as well as login at nats.education.gov.in.
The NATS in India is a 1 year programme equipping technically qualified youth with practical knowledge and skills required in their field of work. The Apprentices are imparted training by the organizations at their place of work. Trained Managers with well developed training modules ensure that Apprentices learn the job quickly and competently.
During the period of apprenticeship, the apprentices are paid a stipend amount, 50% of which is reimbursable to the employer from Government of India. At the end of the training period the apprentices are issued a Certificate of Proficiency by Government of India which can be registered at all employment exchanges across India as valid employment experience.
The Minister also dispersed around Rs. 15 cr to around one lakh apprentices and focused over the vision of making skilling an apprenticeship aspirational as well as encouraging earning while learning as envisioned in National Education Policy (NEP-2020). The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship said that more than 25 Lakh apprentices have been engaged since the inception of the Scheme in 2016, whereas around 3 lakh Apprentices have completed training in 2023.
Secretary for Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship said that DBT through National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NATS) marks a stride towards transparency and efficiency as skilled workforce is paramount, to encompass policy evolution, industry synergies, and heightened recognition.
The apprentices are placed for training at Central, State and Private organizations which have excellent training facilities. National Apprenticeship Training Scheme is one of the flagship programmes of Government of India for Skilling Indian Youth. Welcome to a delightful experience.
NATS Portal 2024 Online Registration Form
- First of all, go to the NATS 2.0 portal - https://nats.education.gov.in/
- On homepage, click "Student" tab or https://nats.education.gov.in/student_type.php
- Click 'Student Register' tab for enrollment of students in National Apprenticeship Training Scheme 2.0.
- If you have the documents required for NATS registration, then click "Yes".
- Then NATS Portal 2.0 registration form will get displayed on your screen.
- Fill in all the details in the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme online registration form 2024 and click "Submit" button to complete the apply online process.
List of Documents Required to fill New NATS Application Form
- Aadhaar card
- Valid Personal Email ID (will be required to activate account and login)
- Mobile number
- Passport size photograph Format: JPEG, Size: Less than 1 MB
- Aadhaar seeded/mapped Bank account details
- Qualifying Degree / Provisional Certificate, Format: PDF, Size: Less than 1MB
- First page of Bank passbook / Bank account statement, Format: PDF, Size: Less than 1MB

- Enter email, password and click "Login" button to make student login at new National Apprenticeship Training scheme portal.

DBT in National Apprenticeship Training Scheme 2.0
On 12 August 2023, Union Minister for Education and Skill Development said that today is a momentous day towards invigorating the apprenticeship ecosystem in our country.
