CM Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan (CMAAA) is a visionary initiative of Assam government launched on 23 September 2023. This initiative is aimed at addressing the issue of unemployment and fostering inclusive progress in the state. Under this CM Atmanirbhar Asom Abhiyan initiative, the government is taking the inaugural step to lay the foundation for a brighter future. The key objective of CM's Atmanirbhar Asom Abhiyan is to enable unemployed youth to become self-reliant by providing them with the necessary resources, guidance, and support. This includes training programs, financial assistance, and access to markets.
CMAAA Final List 2024
- District wise CMAAA final list 2024 has been released by Assam government at cmaaa.assam.gov.in.
- If you want to check district wise CM Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan list of beneficiaries, then you can click at the link - https://cmaaa.assam.gov.in/iservices/ApplDashboard to open CMAAA dashboard.
- Select the name of district to open CMAAA Final List 2024 for that particular district.
How to Apply for CM Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan (CMAAA)
- Only the registered applicants are eligible for applying for the Scheme "Chief Minister's Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan".
- The registered applicant needs to click the Login / Apply Now tab provided at the Home Page then provide registered mobile no. and Password/OTP for login in.
- To apply in "Chief Minister's Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan", registered applicants need to click the "Apply for Scheme" option.
- Registered applicants have to fill up all the necessary details, upload required documents as applicable.
- Registered applicants have to upload the project report based on the selected Sector/Sub-Sector.
- After successful submission an acknowledgement slip is generated along with a reference number, with the help of which a registered applicant can track the status of the application. An SMS and Email is being sent to the applicant.
- A registered applicant can view and track the status of the application by clicking the Track button and entering the applicant's application reference no.
- If the applicant is found eligible the same will be notified to the applicant over SMS and Email.
Chief Minister's Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan Registration & Login
- Firstly visit the CMAAA official website at https://cmaaa.assam.gov.in/site/en
- If the applicant is a first time user, he/she needs to click the Sign-up Tab provided at the top right corner of the page.
- Direct link - https://cmaaa.assam.gov.in/iservices/register
- Then CM Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan Registration page will open.
- Then provide the necessary fields such as Full Name, Mobile No., Email id (which is not mandatory), State and Password. After successful sign-up on the portal, the registration process is complete.
- Next applicants can make Chief Minister's Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan login using his/her account credentials.
- Accordingly, the CMAAA online application form 2024 will open.
- Applicants have to fill up all the necessary details, upload required documents as applicable.
- After successful submission an acknowledgement slip is generated along with a reference number, with the help of which an applicant can track the status of the application. An SMS and Email is being sent to the applicant.
- An applicant can view and track the status of the application by clicking the Track button and entering the applicant's application reference no.
- In case, if there are any discrepancies or mismatches found in the online application, officials will make a query for the same to which the applicant needs to respond and make the necessary corrections in the online application. The applicant will be notified about this over SMS and Email id by the concerned official.
- If the applicant is found eligible the same will be notified to the applicant over SMS and Email.
Chief Minister Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan (CMAAA) Objectives
- Provide self employment to all categories of educated Youth through suitable mechanism.
- Create entrepreneur-oriented ecosystem in the state of Assam.
- Generate employment opportunities in rural and urban areas through setting up of new/existing ventures.
- Provide financial assistance to enterprising individuals and groups to undertake new/existing economic activities.
- Strengthen the State Government's special focus on rural economy.
CM's Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan Eligibility
- The applicant should be permanent resident of Assam and should be above 28 years and below 40 years as on 1st April 2023 (upper age limit is relaxed to 43 years for SC/ST/OBC category).
- The applicant should possess educational qualification as -
- Minimum qualification Class X Pass for general category (For candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC: upto class X)
- ITI, Polytechnic, Diploma in other Technical Courses, Post Graduates
- Degree Holders in Professional courses like Engineering, MBBS, BDS, Veterinary, Fisheries, Agriculture, CA etc.
- The applicant should possess skills, experiences, knowledge, etc., to undertake the income generating activities.
- The applicants should have a bank account, which has been opened before 31st December 2023.
- The applicant should have not defaulted any loan taken from Co-operative and Nationalized Bank in the past.
- Not more than one member from any family shall be eligible for availing benefit under this scheme.
- The applicant must have valid registration in the Employment Exchange.

Chief Minister's Atmanirbhar Assam Abhijan in Assam Budget 2024-25
On 12 February 2024, Finance Minister presented Assam budget 2024-25. While presenting the budget FM said "Mahoday, last year I announced Mukhya Mantri Sva-Niyojan Mission as a flagship scheme. It received tremendous response and about 1,04,000 youth applied and submitted detailed project reports. Selection process shall commence from this February month itself".
FM added "Micro-entrepreneurs will receive Rs. 2 lakh and Rs. 5 lakh in instalments, as a combination of government grant plus interest free government loan. Interest free government loan to be paid back after a period of 5 years starting from the 61st month in 60 equal instalments. There will be training and mentorship in various sectors including Trading, Manufacturing, Service, Food processing, Handloom, Handicraft, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Fishery, and Dairy etc. Rs. 1010 crore will be spent for this purpose from under Chief Minister Samagra Gramya Unnayan Yojna (CMSGUY).
