Maharastra government has started Shravan Bal Yojana 2024 to give rights to senior citizens and prevent their harassment. Under Shravan Bal Yojna, the state govt. will provide rights to old people and to provide them with financial aid on reaching the age of 65 years. Social Justice and Special Assistance Department of Maharashtra is the nodal agency to implement the Shravan Bal Yojana. This scheme is specifically designed to provide financially support to the elderly people of the Maharashtra state.

Shravanbal Seva State Pension Scheme in Maharashtra Budget 2023-2024

While presenting Maharashtra Budget 2023-24 on 9 March 2023, FM said "Our government is always committed towards Antyodaya. That is why the financial assistance of the eligible beneficiaries of Sanjay Gandhi Destitute Grant Scheme and Shravanbal Seva State Pension Scheme is being increased from Rs. 1000 to Rs. 1500. An additional provision of Rs. 2,400 crores will be made for this. This assistance will be provided regularly in the first week of every month".


Maharashtra Shravan Bal Yojana List 2024

Shravan Bal Yojana 2024 has been started by the Maharashtra government with objective to provide a financial incentives to old people who have crossed the age of 65 years. The state government will provide Rs. 400 to 600 every month to the old age citizens who have name in Shravan Bal Yojana List. There are 2 categories under shravan bal yojana list A and B category.

Category A : candidate will get Rs. 600 per month whose name in category A from Maharashtra state government. The category A candidates will be those candidates whose names are not include in BPL list.

Category B : Candidate will get Rs. 400 per month from the state government and Rs. 200 per month from central government under Indira Gandhi old Age Pension Scheme. The category B candidates will be those candidates whose names are included in BPL List.

How to Check Shravan Bal Scheme List of Beneficiaries

Below is the complete procedure to check name in the Shravan Bal Yojana list of beneficiaries:-

  • First of all, visit the official website of Maharashtra Right to public services act at https://aaplesarkar.mahaonline.gov.in/en/.
  • On homepage, click on "Beneficiary List" option.
  • A new page will open where you can select your district and village / block then click on submit button.
  • Shravan Bal Yojana list of beneficiaries will get displayed on the screen.


Shravan Bal Yojana Eligibility Criteria

In order to become eligible for the Shravan Bal Yojana, candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria given below:-

Eligibility Criteria for Category A

  • Candidate must be a permanent resident of Maharashtra state.
  • The candidate must be above 65 years of age.
  • Family Income of the candidate from all sources must not exceed Rs. 21,000 per annum.
  • Name of the candidate must not be included in the BPL List.

Eligibility Criteria for Category B

  • Candidate must be a permanent resident of Maharashtra state.
  • The candidate must be above 65 years of age.
  • Family Income of the candidate from all sources must not exceed Rs. 21,000 per annum.
  • Name of the candidate must be included in the BPL List.
