Swanirbhar Naari Portal registration process for traders / entrepreneurs has been started at swanirbharnaari.assam.gov.in. Under swanirbhar nari scheme, Assam govt will procure items directly from traders through online mode. After making swanirbhar naari portal registration 2024 and login, traders can sell their items directly to the Assam state government. Beneficiary traders are now being registered through a specially developed Swanirbhar Naari (swanibharnaari.assam.gov.in) portal.
Any entrepreneur producing the benchmarked items also needs to apply at the portal. The last date for registration of Traders and Entrepreneurs at Swanirbhar Nari official website has been extended upto 31 August 2024. Swanirbhar Naari Portal Trader Registration 2024 & Login
- First of all, visit the Swanirbhar Naari Portal at https://swanirbharnaari.assam.gov.in/
- At the homepage, click at "Online Trader Registration" tab present in the main menu.
- Direct link - https://swanirbharnaari.assam.gov.in/Trader/traderLogin
- Accordingly, the Swanirbharnaari Assam Portal trader login page will open.
- Already registered traders can make login (Sign In) by entering mobile no and clicking at "Login with OTP" tab.
- If you are not registered yet, then click at "Sign Up Here" tab to make Swanirbhar Naari Online Registration for Traders.
- Select district, block, ward/village, enter owner name, business name, mobile no, email ID, address and click at "Signup with OTP" button.
- Applicant needs to enter the OTP for verification sent in respective Mobile number.
- The applicant has to enter the required details and furnish the mandatory details as asked below and SAVE & SUBMIT for further processing.
- After submission of the data, the Applicant has to UPLOAD the related required documents as mentioned below and SUBMIT for VERIFICATION.
- After Final submission of the Form, a Status will be reflected showing successful submission.
- The Applicant can view the Status of the Application by Login into the SNN portal using registered Mobile number.

- Already registered entrepreneurs can make login (Sign In) by entering mobile no and clicking at "Login with OTP" tab.
- If you are not registered yet, then click at "Sign Up Here" tab to make Swanirbhar Naari Online Registration for Entrepreneurs.
- Select district, block, ward/village, enter unit name, entrepreneur name, mobile no, address and click at "Signup with OTP" button.
- Applicant needs to enter the OTP for verification sent in respective Mobile number.
- The applicant has to enter the required details and furnish the mandatory details as asked below and SAVE & SUBMIT for further processing.
- After submission of the data, the Applicant has to Furnish the required details as mentioned below and SAVE for onward processing.
- After submission of the data, the Applicant has to UPLOAD supporting documents related to Experience in District/State/National/International levels.
- After Uploading of required documents, STATE whether the Weavers working under the concerned Applicant is registered under Swanirbhar Naari scheme or not.
- If Weavers working under the Applicant is registered under Swanirbhar Naari scheme then furnish the Weaver Id of the respective Weaver.
- Upon submiƫng the Weaver Id, weaver details will be displayed then confirm the details and "Add Weaver".
- After providing the Weaver Id working under the applicant can submit the Application form.
- The Applicant can view the Status of the Application by Login into the SNN portal using registered Mobile number.

Swanirbhar Naari Scheme in Assam Budget 2024-25
On 12th February, Finance Minister presented Assam Budget 2024-25. While presenting the budget, FM said "In financial year 2023-24, the Department achieved
significant milestones in preserving and promoting
Assam's rich handloom and sericulture traditions.
Initiatives like "Swanirbhar Naari" were launched to
empower weavers, focusing on the economic wellbeing of over 12 lakh people involved in the handloom
sector. The establishment of Integrated Handloom
Parks and Model Villages, Golden Silk Park and
College of Sericulture demonstrated the state's
commitment to sustainable practices and the
development of a skilled workforce in the sericulture
sector".
FM added "Looking ahead to the next financial year, the
department aims to establish Mulberry Yarn Banks
and Amrit Sarovars to further support production and
secure livelihoods for weavers and celebrate the
heritage of Assam silk. I allocate an amount of Rs. 352.29 crore to Handloom, Textiles and Sericulture Department".
