As you all know that students who want to apply online for Post Matric Scholarship Scheme in the state of Bihar have to face many difficulties. Bihar Post Matric Scholarship Portal Registration 2023-24

Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar, has started process for Bihar Post Matric Scholarship Portal Registration 2023-24. School Education Dept. launches this new website pmsonline.bih.nic.in to facilitate students in filling up of their Bihar Post Matric Scholarship Application Form. At the newly launched portal, you can apply for academic year 2019-20, 2020-21, 2021-22, 2022-23 and 2023-24.

 

The state government has launched PMS Online Bihar NIC In Portal to resume the post-matric scholarship scheme (PMSP) for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) students. You can apply online for the academic year 2019-20, 2020-21, 2021-22 only as well as BC-EBC Post Matric Scholarship 2022-23. Also one can apply for Post Matric Scholarship 2022-23, 2023-24 SC & ST only. Earlier, the Bihar govt. was inviting applications through National Scholarship Portal for executing the scheme. However, the portal faced technical issues and students from the last years could not apply for the scholarship, as a result.

You can follow some simple steps to make Bihar Post Matric Scholarship Portal Registration 2023-24:-

• First of all, you can visit official website at https://pmsonline.bih.nic.in/

• On homepage, you will have to click photo displaying "Apply for Post Matric Scholarship 2022-23, 2023-24 SC & ST Only" link. 

• New Students please register themselves first and then apply for academic year 2023-24. So, on new Bihar Post Matric Scholarship apply online page, scheduled caste / scheduled tribe students who are new users can click at "New Students Registration for (SC-ST 2023-24)" link.

• Next page, read scheme guidelines, accept terms and conditions and click "Continue" button.
• This will open Bihar SC / ST Students Post Matric Scholarship Scheme online application form 2023-24.

• Enter name of student, father / mother name, date of birth, gender, religion, category, home district, institute state, institute district, institute name, email id (verify it), mobile number (verification required), captcha and then click at "Next" button to complete Bihar PMS scheme registration form fillup process.
• Then already registered candidates can make login similar to the manner in STEP 3.

• Then page to make Student login at Post Matric Scholarship Portal will open.

• Enter User ID, password and click a "Login (SC-ST 22-23, 23-24)" button.

• Caste certificate 
• Address proof
• Income certificate
• Bank account number 

How to Apply for Bihar Post Matric Scholarship Scheme

• 1 : This Post Matric Scholarship portal is only open for SC and ST students resident of Bihar State.
  2 : Students eligible as per advertisement of Post Matric Scholarship of Education Department, Govt. of Bihar need to apply.
  3: A student will get scholarship only once for each academic year.
  4 : A student only need to apply only once for one academic year otherwise his/her application will be rejected.
  5 : Before apply check the name of your institution in registered list of institutions [View Institution List]
  6 : Institution need to register first on the portal before you can apply. The institution will be provisionally approved for enabling the student to apply. Only after physical verification by a duly constituted committee of Govt. of Bihar payment will be released.
  7 : Ensure that student bank account is active and is in the name of student only.
  8 : Student applications for Post Matric Scholarship will be verified both by institution authorities and duly constituted committee of Govt. of Bihar.
  9 : Students can register to the portal by providing details such as Name, Aadhaar Number, Date of Birth, Mobile Number and email etc.
  10 : USERID and Password after successful registration will be sent to registered mobile number.
  11 : Do not share USERID and PASSWORD with any other person.
  12 : After obtaining USERID and PASSWORD login to the portal and complete the form and finally submit the form.
  13. Following documents valid for 2023-24 are mandatory for applying for Post Matric Scholarship application :
  a.) Aadhaar Card
  b.) Residential Certificate of Bihar
  c.) Caste Certificate issued by competent authority of Govt. of Bihar
  d.) Income Certificate [2023-24]
  e.) Fee Receipt from Institution
  f.) Bonafide Certificate (As Applicable)
  g.) Last Exam Passing Certificate [In case of First Year Last degree certificate and in case of consecutive years(2nd, 3rd, 4th years etc. Last Degree Passing certificate and Course exam passing Marksheet]
  15. After completion of the form finally submit the application form on portal and print a copy of the application form for future reference. No Change is permissible after final submission of the form.
  16. The student application will be duly verified by the concerned institution and it also be physically verified from institution records by a duly constituted committee of Govt. of Bihar. Only after due process laid down by Govt. of Bihar Post Matric Scholarship will be released to the Bank Account of Student through DBT [PFMS].
