[Apply] MP Unified Vehicle Registration Card (RC) / Driving Licence (DL) Online Application Form 2024

Madhya Pradesh government has started Unified Vehicle Registration Card (RC) Apply Online Form 2024. Even the state govt. of MP also invites Unified Driving Licence (DL) Online Application Form. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has made announcement to start MP Unified Vehicle Registration Card / Driving Licence online registration. 

The MP state govt. becomes 1st state in the country to launch unified vehicle registration card. Moreover, MP govt. becomes 2nd state in the country to launch unified driving license after Uttar Pradesh.

People can now apply online for MP Unified Vehicle Registration Card / Driving Licence services.

MP Unified Vehicle Registration Card / Driving Licence Apply Online Form

The state govt. of Madhya Pradesh has started 2 unique initiatives - Unified Vehicle Registration Card, Unified Driving Licence. MP Unified Vehicle Registration Card is the first-of-its-kind initiative anywhere in the country. People can now fill MP Unified Vehicle Registration Card apply online form & Unified Driving Licence online application form. MP is the second state to start unified driving license after UP.

To mark the official launch of this scheme, CM also distributed unified vehicle registration cards & driving licences to 6 persons. Previously, Madhya Pradesh Transport Department Commissioner said that Ministry of Transport and Highways (MoRTH) had issued guidelines to bring uniformity in driving licenses and vehicle registration cards across the country in March 2019. 

The new MP Unified Vehicle Registration Card (RC) & Driving Licence (DL) are being issued in compliance with these guidelines. MP also becomes 1st state which has started issuing both unified RC and DL smart cards together.

MP Unified Vehicle Registration Card (RC) / Driving Licence (DL) Features

The new MP Unified Vehicle Registration Card (RC) and Driving Licence (DL) have many new features. Both these smart cards are different from their previous layout. The new MP unified RC / DL cards will contain more exhaustive information printed on both the sides of the cards. These would also bear a unique number recognized across the country.

The new MP unified Vehicle Registration Card & Driving License smart cards will each have a QR code. This feature will help in verifying authenticity of the data printed on the cards. Moreover, these smart cards would be standard across the country.

MP Unified Vehicle Registration Cards / Driving License Details

Both these smart cards, namely Unified Vehicle RC & DL in MP will comprise of the following information which is stored in chip:-

1. Name 
2. Address
3. Blood Group
4. Date of Birth
5. Photograph of MP Unified RC & DL Card holder
6. Issuing Authority details
7. Validity

MP govt. has made necessary up-gradation and changes in the software and that the department is now ready to roll out new cards. Furthermore, MP Unified Driving License will contain information about driver's ability to drive in hilly and dangerous areas and an emergency contact number.
