The content of fake scheme spreads like this "Central govt. to start PM AC Yojana 2024 Registration to provide air conditioners at cheap prices. Prime Minister of India would launch this new PM AC Scheme to save people from stroke of heat. Under this PM Modi AC Yojna, poor people can make online booking to apply online for new and cheap air conditioners".

The ACs given by the central govt. would make life of people easier as these would save electricity bills & even comes at at-least 15% to 20% lower prices. ACs Quality & Features - Pradhan Mantri AC Yojana 2024

Some people are spreading flase information such as "The important features of the ACs to be provided by the Modi govt. under PM AC Yojana are as follows:-

• ACs provided to poor people by the Indian government under PM Modi AC Yojana would come at-least 15% to 20% lesser rates than ACs of other companies.
• All the ACs would be of very excellent quality and are comparable to 5 Star Rating ACs of other companies.
• The ACs under Pradhan Mantri AC Yojana can utilize at-least 35% to 40% electricity than normal ACs. So PM AC Yojna would ensure reduced electricity bills after installation.
• In addition to this, there is a provision of Exchange Offer for purchase of ACs under the PM AC Scheme 2024. People can now exchange their old ACs and replace it with new one.
• PM AC Yojna would also offer guarantee period of 1 to 5 years for these ACs.

On social media, it is spreading that "The online bookings for Pradhan Mantri AC Yojana would open from March 2024. Once these bookings will open, people can order 1 AC for themselves. The eligibility criteria to avail AC under PM Modi's Air Conditioner Scheme are as follows:-

1. All those who want to apply & make online booking must be permanent resident of India.
2. Only such person whose house meters are in their name can apply online and place order for cheap air conditioner under PM AC Yojana.

The default temperature of ACs under PM AC Scheme is going to be 24 to 26 degrees. In other countries like Japan, there is a provision of running ACs at default temperature of 28 degree centigrade. People will get lower electricity bills and ACs would save around 20 billion units of electricity per year. You must not believe as it is a false propanganda against Modi govt."

Govt. has banned some social media accounts spreading information like "Energy Efficiency Services Limited has been provided with the responsibility to manufacture high quality ACs for poor people at cheap prices.
